This year's Project Week was packed with a diverse range of initiatives for students and staff.
Here is a taster of what they got up to:
MUSIC THERAPY: Interacting and singing songs with residents of local nursing homes to help alleviate the symptoms of dementia.
LEGS: Students helped local community groups restore a nature reserve in Wick.
WYE VALLEY CANOEING: An adventure canoeing journey through the Wye Valley.
AERIAL CIRCUS SKILLS: Specialised coaching in a range of serial circus skills.
LIVING ON THE VEG: Exploring ways of being more sustainable through food.
POWER FOR THE VALLEY: Designing and installing solar power in The Valley.
POLITICAL ECOLOGY: An immersive experience living on the land in The Valley, foraging, sowing, planting to support food production thee.
RECONNECTING WITH THE PAST: A visit to Stonehenge.
REFUGEE EXCHANGE PROJECT: An on-campus visit from refugees living in Cardiff.
